SCS Interiors Supports Special Olympics in 2012

In 2011, employees at SCS Interiors took on the challenge of making scarves to be donated for Special Olympics Minnesota per their request to the public. Thirteen (13) scarves were made by the employees and shipped last year. The community service project was enjoyable to do as each crafter could decide what pattern they were going to make when they knit or crocheted a scarf.

When the 2012 campaign was launched, the employees again decided to participate in making the scarves. An extra challenge was added this year as the employees decided to try to double the number of scarves that were made last year. The challenge was met when twenty-eight (28) scarves were shipped to Special Olympics Minnesota on January 5, 2012. As you can see from the picture, there was a wide variety of scarf patterns again this year. Now the employees are waiting for the announcement of next year’s colors!
